   Hello Mr. Petty,
   I ran across your drawings and other material while looking at images of “the golden ratio in buildings.” I’m in the process of rehabbing a 1960′s “California Style” ranch house. I’m curious about applying the principles of the golden ratio to the design of the exterior. I have to replace all of the windows, and it’s a frame-built home, so making structural changes is fairly simple: get the Sawzall fired up and go at it! Ha! Just kidding.
   Also, I have a grandson age eleven who thinks that math “is cool” and invented “his own strategy” for multiplying integers when he was seven. I’m going to share with him, the three pieces you’ve provided, the golden triangle, golden ratio and the table of universal structure of geometric growth.
